5th Straight Road Loss for Sparks, Houston Comets-75, Los Angeles Sparks-72

Candace Parker and Lisa Leslie were held to just 16 points each in a loss to the Houston Comets Saturday night, 75-72. This is the 5th straight road loss for the Sparks.

Parker was double-teamed all night and only got off 14 shots.

Marie Ferdinand-Harris added 15 points. DeLisha Milton-Jones added 8 points.

The Sparks jumped out to a 9-3 lead in the 1st. But the Comets answered with a 10-0 run to take a 13-9 lead. By the close of the half, Houston had gained a 40-30 advantage.

Leslie hit a 3 pointer with 6 seconds on the clock to tie the game at 65 and sending it into overtime.

Tamecka Dixon contributed with 6 points in overtime, 17 overall, to help push Houston to the win over Los Angeles.
