Brista Silva, a skilled point guard form the Mexican National Team was signed by the Los Angeles Sparks. Silva, 25, was born in Sinaloa, Mexico and will be the first Mexican national to play in the WNBA. In 2007 she played for the Mexican National Team in the Pan American Games.
